Cruise - Sydney & Sea Day 1-2

Sydney- We jumped into a taxi and went across Anzac Bridge to the White Bay Terminal.  The queue moved quickly and it wasn't long till we had our boarding passes and were going through security.  We went straight to our cabin to check it out and drop off our bags.

Then headed upstairs to grab some lunch at the buffet.  After lunch we went for a walk around to explore the ship.   We went to the Emergency Drill, then it was time to set sail.

It started to drizzle as the ship set sail, so we decided to skip the sail away party up on the Lido deck and head down to deck 8 so we could see the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Garden Island (Navy yards) and Fort Denison as we sailed out of the harbour.

After we sailed out of the harbour it was time to head back to our cabin to get ready for dinner in the Waterfront restaurant (formal dining room).   Found this guy wandering around when we were heading back to our cabin :)

After dinner we went to the Marquee to see the "Welcome Aboard Show".

Sea Day 1 -  Sea days were lazy days - meals, reading, napping and just relaxing on the deck at the Oasis.  We had a look at the various displays at the cruise fair in the Atrium.

Since this was the first time we had sailed on the Pacific Jewel we went on the Ship Tour.

The Dome

Casino

Plantation restaurant (Buffet)

Oasis (Adults only lounge)

Salt Grill restaurant

Dinner at the Waterfront, then listening to live music in Connections bar where we got to meet the Captain while he walked around introducing himself to the guests.

After listening to the band we went to the Marquee to watch the feature show "The Velvet Rope".

Sea Day 2 - Another lazy day of meals, reading, napping and just relaxing on the deck at the Oasis. Dinner at the Waterfront, then listening to live music in Connections bar before watching the feature artist "Dave Stephens" - A unique, energetic vocalist with twists of comedy and dance.  We came back to our cabin to find this cute towel animal sitting on our bed :)
