Kristy and I were so excited to go to the scrap retreat on the weekend! We missed the March one this year, so couldn't wait for this one :) Kristy was packed and ready to travel from the Gold Coast early Friday morning. She arrived just as I was packing the last few things, so she had a nap before we grabbed dinner and snacks and headed to Chaverim. We managed to pack ALL our stuff on her little car - we are Tetris queens!! LOL We set up our rooms and unpacked our craft gear and got started creating! It was a late night Friday 1am for me and 2am for Kristy.
Up early for a yummy breakfast, more creating and chatting with everyone. We scrapped all day, but a few of us stopped mid afternoon for a nap / rest, ready for another late night of scrapping again.
We woke to beautiful weather! Another busy day of eating, chatting and creating!
Cathie, Kylie, Kristy, Kylie and I made sure to get a group photo this time! We talked about having our own mini scrap retreat in January :)
Kristy got a HUGE amount of Xmas cards made and I got 17 layouts scrapped and finished 3 LO from the last Simply Crafty day. A very productive weekend spent with my favourite people xo
