Poona - Camping Day 1 & 2 - Part 1

We had another amazing weekend away camping at Poona with our tribe for the Anzac day long weekend!  As usual lots of exploring and memories being made!  Teasing about the  "plate incident" and "glockenspiel" to be brought up at future camps :)

Day 1 -  Since Poona is less the 2 hours away and we had an early finish for work, we decided to head down Friday afternoon :)  We set up our camper - due to the rain forecast, we decided to set up the bed end fly's for the first time and put down the new annex mat.

We headed over to the community hall for a roast dinner (roast lamb and veges and apple, coconut and sour cream slice for dessert).

Day 2 - The rest of the camp crew wasn't due till after lunch so we headed off to Maryborough for the morning for a look around.

We started off at the visitor centre to get some information about what to see & do.

A replica of the peace cake- the original cake was specially made for the Mayoral Victory Ball held at the town ha to celebrate the end of the first world war.
