Day 3 - We were up early and on the road by 6am to get to Tin Can Bay to feed the dolphins! We have taken Clay twice already, but it was so lovely to take our friends to experience it too.
From Tin Can Bay we headed to rainbow Beach- we stopped at Seary's Creek day-use area. The tea-coloured creek waters that have been filtered through the sands of the Cooloola sand mass. The kids where brave / silly enough to have a swm in the freezing cold creek!
We continued onto Rainbow Beach for a look around :)
Back to camp - pancakes for lunch!
Another swim in the pool!
Kristy wanted to take some photos with her new camera, so I went for a walk with her to take some photos of nature.
A relaxed afternoon playing games, chatting, snacking and a few people had naps. Another late afternoon of rain/ scattered showers :( Dinner followed by a new game I brought for camp "Crazy Charades" LOL
Day 4 - We were up early and trying to pack up before the rain hit, unfortunately the rain hit sooner than predicated. Craig and I were nearly finished, so had to wait for it to stop. Kristy and Bec's camps had only just started. The rain stopped and we finished and hooked up ready to leave. We helped Kristy and Alyssa pack up their camp - just as we went to fold down the 3x6m gazebo the rain started and a huge gust of wind tossed it over the top of Kristy's car and hit a caravan than was driving out!!! Luckily there only a small mark on Kristy's new car and no damage to the caravan. Unfortunately one of the top poles on the gazebo was damaged - hopefully Kristy can buy a replacement part. So by the time we were all packed up and ready to go...we were all soaking wet and looked like drowned rats LOL
We got home just before lunch and unpacked the camper, washed the clothes and set the camper again to dry out. We can't wait for our next adventure!
