Cruise Day 1, 2 & 3 - At Sea

Day 1
Instead of travelling down the same day we sailed, we stayed overnight in a hotel 5 mins from the port. It was a nice drive down (not worried about traffic or missing the boat), then a relaxing afternoon sightseeing before dinner at a sports club. Up early the next morning for a bit more sightseeing and some breakfast, then off to the portside to check in! After checking out our cabin, we looked around the ship at all the new changes that were done in April. We then headed up to the sun deck to have a cocktail and join in with the sailaway party! A live band, the Pacific Cirque entertaining us, cocktails and enjoying the sunset as we sailed out of Brisbane was a great start to the cruise :)

After the party we got changed and went to the formal dining room for a delicious dinner, then off to the show lounge to see the "Welcome Aboard Show". A few more drinks and listening to a band, before heading to bed.

Day 2
A very leisurely day - breakfast, Thread card stitching class (will share pics soon), lunch, trivia, quilling class, some reading and even a nanna nap!

It was cocktail night - a chance to get frocked up in my new dress and Craig looked spunky in his suit :)

We got some professional photos done before dinner (will share soon) and then went to see "please Don't Stop the Music" in the show lounge. From there we went to listen to a band for a while, then went to The Dome to see Demo Simis comedy show.

Day 3
Another leisurely day - breakfast, Thread card stitching class (will share pics soon), lunch, trivia, quilling class and more reading reading.

We had a look at the "Showcase @ Sea" in the Atrium - displays of arts & crafts, food / cocktails, cooking demos, etc. Loved seeing the towel animals and the fruit carving displays again. Got to sample some cocktails, Asain & Thai dishes from the speciality restaurants. There was a chocolate display - cakes and truffles / chocolates - definately sampled them :)

Dinner was in the formal dining room again, then off to the Showlounge to see "The Amazing Mr Fish" .  He was hilarious - I was laughing so hard and  loved the whole show.

We found this sitting on our bed when we got back to our cabin :)
